  • Morris Habitat For Humanity

John, an auto technician at a local car dealership in Randolph, NJ, has struggled to afford a stable place to live for his four daughters and wife was arguably the most appreciative person there. His destiny, thanks to Morris Habitat for Humanity, is that their family will be proud homeowners at Budd Lake, NJ. After moving his eldest daughter through two prior schools and worrying about if they’ll still have a safe place to live in, he is eager to be a part of a stable and secure community and put down family roots.

  • St. Catherine's of Siena faith-based ministry group travels to Chicago to help the less fortunate. Father Jared, the Pastor, explained: "They also have an experience of the challenges that people face and how they can make a difference in that challenge.  They also get to meet and interact with other young people their own age.  They see how it is ok to be a person of faith, to talk about it, to pray, and also to have doubts."

  • An Timely Request From Morris Habitat CEO

Blair Schleicher Bravo, CEO of Morris Habitat for Humanity, speaks out in this letter of appeal to Morris County Congregations to volunteer and give time, treasure, and talent.

Bravo, a former Councilwoman and twice Mayor of Mountain Lakes, NJ is asking 20 area churches to form an immediate collaboration with Morris Habitat, over a one year time period, to help with the building of 17 Habitat Homes in Morris County.  Veterans and any Senior Members of these congregations in need of home repairs or upgrades will benefit directly from the program.

Saturday June 3, 2017 will mark the official launch, where 20 Church teams of 12 will participate in the annual Hammer for Heroes event  and build walls on the front lawn at Morris Habitat Headquarters, located at 274 South Salem Street, Randolph , NJ. It is a fun day for every one of all ages.
