4/28/2017 Blair Schleicher Bravo, CEO of Morris Habitat for Humanity, speaks out in this letter of appeal to Morris County Congregations to volunteer and give time, treasure, and talent.
Bravo, a former Councilwoman and twice Mayor of Mountain Lakes, NJ is asking 20 area churches to form an immediate collaboration with Morris Habitat, over a one year time period, to help with the building of 17 Habitat Homes in Morris County. Veterans and any Senior Members of these congregations in need of home repairs or upgrades will benefit directly from the program.
Saturday June 3, 2017 will mark the official launch, where 20 Church teams of 12 will participate in the annual Hammer for Heroes event and build walls on the front lawn at Morris Habitat Headquarters, located at 274 South Salem Street, Randolph , NJ. It is a fun day for every one of all ages.
